Holding it together when a cancer diagnosis is given to anyone can feel impossible.
Community Cancer Care (CCC) – Canungra provides practical financial support for individuals and families residing in our community who are undergoing cancer treatment so they don’t have to face it alone.
By providing this practical financial support CCC – Canungra seeks to provide a ‘big warm hug from the community’ for locals undergoing cancer treatment.
Funds are raised through donations, fundraising events and campaigns held year-round, helping our local community members with any kind of cancer.

Our story
How it all started
Community Cancer Care was formed in 2022 as part of the evolution of the Turning Canungra Pink event series.
Turning Canungra Pink started over 10 years ago with Di Crook and the front window of Cafe Metz.
From there it continued to grow with the Canungra Chamber of Commerce supporting a series of fundraising events and all of the town 'turning pink' each October. The initiative even gained recognition in National Parliament for coming together to support raising funds for cancer support!
Now, Community Cancer Care works to increase awareness in our community by holding events throughout the year, including the Turning Canungra Pink event series in October.
